Wildlife Viewing and Photography

wilderness canoeing Starting in mid-July and running through mid-September we offer wildlife-viewing trips by canoe on the Toobally Lakes, based out of our main lodge. These outings are tailored for those who wish to see and experience one of the North's last truly remote areas, yet still enjoy the luxury of a beautiful lodge each evening.

Each day you will paddle out with your guide and enjoy all this great land has to offer: fishing for lake trout, pike, and arctic grayling, hiking, berry-picking, and photographing a multitude of waterfowl and wildlife in their natural surroundings. Moose, bears, ospreys, trumpeter swans as well as both bald and golden eagles are common in the vast wilderness that is the Yukon's signature. And the canoes allow clients to achieve an up-close perspective.

At lunch, sit back as your guide cooks the morning's catch over an open fire. Relax in the main lodge each evening in luxury after a home-cooked meal. Clients will also have the opportunity for guided hikes to fish remote lakes.

Prices include transportation from Whitehorse to the lodge and return to Whitehorse.
